The Wood Slat Stairway Gate is a hardware mounted gate that is designed to be used at the top or bottom of stairs. This swinging wood panel can only be opened in one direction, so the swinging gate does not pass out dangerously over stairways.
This Wood Slat Stairway Gate can fit a generous 27" to 42" wide opening and measures 24" tall overall height. The pass through opening of the gate would match the opening width of your gate span, due to the complete swinging door action. This 24" tall gate height allows most customers to step over the gate without having to release the quick latch locking mechanism. This Wood Slat Stairway gate features 2 7/8" wood slat spacings, making it difficult for small dog and cats to pass through.
This gate features a natural wood finish that is constructed of durable American Hardwood. This stairway gate is simple to install, and can be completed in a few minutes!

to the guidelines as set forth by the JPMA
& the Consumer Products Safety Commission.
