The Extra Tall Extra Wide Automatic Close Gate features a unique Magnetic Lock Technology that automatically pulls the swinging gate towards the stationary lock. This feature is very convenient for customers carrying groceries, or children, and do not have hands free to close the swing gate behind them. These powerful magnets will pull the swing gate until it is in the closed position.

The gate stands 36" tall and can fit openings from 29-47.5" wide. There are no extensions available for this gate. This gate is pressure mounted and is an excellent choice for use in either doorways or hallways when hardware mounted gates are not an option. This gate also features a hold button lock function that allows the swing gate portion to be kept completely open until the button is released. The swing gate will automatically close once this hold button is released. This feature is very convenient for customers during high traffic times, or when the gate barrier is not needed. This gate is constructed of durable steel that will last for years. The installation process does not require any tools and is quick and simple.

Note: The manufacturer does not recommend mounting this Automatic Close Gate at the top of stairs. A bottom bar located at the base of this gates helps to keep the gate stable, but can become a tripping hazard when placed at the top of stairways.

Use with children: This gate is JPMA certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturer's Association for safe use with small children. It can be used to secure doorways and hallways. This gate is not recommended for use at the top of stairs.

Use with pets: This sturdy gate stands 36" tall intended to confine medium to large sized dog breeds. Larger or energetic dogs may require a taller gate.
